Dr. Zeny N. Ocean received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. His undergraduate training was at San Diego State College in California. Dr. Ocean has over 20 years of experience in traditional, biological, mercury safe and biocompatible dentistry. His mission is to treat his patients in the most healthy, caring, way possible and to share information about dental wellness with his patients so that they may make educated decisions about their oral health. He fully understands the important relationship of oral to general health and realizes that you cannot be truly healthy without good oral health.
Dr. Ocean shares the holistic/biological dentistry philosophy that the teeth and associated structures are a part of the whole body. Because of this, he offers a wide range of healthy treatment options in his office. Dr. Ocean takes a unique whole body approach to oral health care, combining sound dental science and technical experience with a deep concern for his patients emotional well-being and comfort. He stresses the use of safe biocompatible dental material whenever possible. Dr. Ocean works closely with highly qualified health professionals to assist him in his efforts to return his patients to optimal oral and total body health.
Dr. Ocean believes that continuing education is a powerful tool that allows him to give you and your family the best, state-of-the-art dental care. Each year he takes many hours of continuing education courses. He has advanced training in many areas of traditional, cosmetic and holistic dentistry.
Dr. Ocean is on the staff of Saint Marys Regional Medical Center.
